Some Cookbook Examples
We thought it would be fun to show you
some real cookbooks.
Three were made by members (and one by me).
They were excited about their cookbooks
and wanted to share them.
When you click on the images below
the cookbooks open up
as Adobe Acrobat files.
Remember, these are complete books
and so may take from a minute
to a minute and a half to load,
or a bit longer if you are on a dial-up connection.
I think you will see that they are worth the wait
when you open them. :)

"Mom & In memory of
her sisters" "Gramma"
One of our members sent the following note:
I took sometime yesterday to look at some of the additions
to the website and clicked on Cookbook Ideas
and ended up viewing "Mom and her Sisters" and
"In Memory of Gramma."
I was fascinated with the stories in each book.
They were delightful.
We added stories to the last book that I put together also
and it was
fascinating to see how different yet alike the stories
from their families
and the ones from the Confer Family Cookbook.
It reminds us all how truly blessed to have family
with all of the warts and all.
In these troubling times it makes me proud
to be a descendant of Violet and
Otis Confer and reminds me once again what a blessing
they were in my life.
I realize how they struggled and survived and
I know they we can also.
