FORMAT OF THE COOKBOOK
What font does the book use?
All the books are printed in Times Roman, 11 point.
What size is the book?
The cookbooks are 6"x 9" printed on the highest quality 100 lb silk finish paper.
What do the covers look like?
You may use our cover designs or make one of your own (no extra charge).
All of the covers are comprised of a design surrounded by a 1/2" white border.
Email us if you would like a cover with a bleed image (no white margins).
Can we add advertising pages in the back of the cookbook.
Yes, you can do this using the Extra Page function (no extra cost).
What kind of bindings do you have? Do you have something
that is easy to open flat on the counter?
We use coil bindings as they last the best and they open right flat out.
We do not use comb binding as it does not last.
Please contact us about Perfect binding (like a paperback), three-ring binders or hard cover binding. Special bindings take about 2 weeks longer to be printed and are available all year long except during the holiday rush period.
Is the cookbook in color or in black and white?
The cookbook has a color cover.
The pages inside are printed in black and white or color - your choice.
When it says " a 150 page cookbook," does that mean 150 pages
front and back sided or 150 pieces of paper and 300 pages?
150 pages means back and front of 75 pieces of paper.
No extra charges for "personal pages," B&W photos, advertising pages,
etc. A page is a page to us.
What about putting pictures into my book - is this difficult?
It's super easy.

How long does it take to have the cookbook printed?
Orders take 10-15 business days - 2-3 weeks to print and approximately 1 week to ship.
What is the minimum order?
The wonderful printer we found has agreed to a minimum of just 4 books.
You will probably want more, but we wanted to give you the option of
ordering a really small quantity.
This is also very useful for fundraising as you can order a small quantity
and then take orders for the exact number you will be able to sell.
NO LEFT OVERS eating into your profits.
Can I order more copies?
You can order more copies at any time because the printer will keep your file.
All you need is the name of your file that you received via email on your original order.
If you want to continue to work on your file to make a different cookbook,
you may extend your membership and keep your cookbook "live."
May I use my own local printer?
You may only use the printer that we recommend, with whom
we have an electronic link, so that your files transfer safely.
